      <image:title>Services - Individual Counseling</image:title>
<image:caption>Whether you are dealing with major life changes, relational concerns, feeling anxious and overwhelmed, feeling depressed, or dealing with trauma, individual counseling could help you. I provide individual counseling for children, adolescents, and adults. I seek to provide a safe place for you to learn more about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences of the world. We will explore the systems you operate within, and the roles you play within those systems and relationships. I will challenge you to integrate what you learn about yourself into new ways of being that are authentic to you and are rooted within your individual goals. My goal is that when we end our time together an empowered and authentic you moves into the world.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Services - Family Counseling</image:title>
<image:caption>Our family are often the most impactful relationships we have, and the ones we carry with us as precursors in how we will relate to the world. Families can be our most valuable foundation; they can also be complex, stressful, isolating, and filled with discord. When it comes to our families we have a lot of emotion, which holds tremendous power to either create beauty or to create pain. Whether you are having difficulty with major changes in your family system, feeling disconnected, or dealing with the challenges of growing children, family therapy can help you reconnect, reorient, and find more effective ways of relating to one another. In family therapy, we will identify behavioral patterns, individual roles, and communication barriers. We will work together to foster acceptance, and accountability. We will integrate new ways of communicating and connecting which is authentic to your family’s needs and goals.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Services - LGBTQ+ Group Counseling</image:title>
<image:caption>Exploring and Integrating Identity Finding, and living, your authentic self in a world trying to make you like everybody else can be difficult. The acute and chronic stress of being a member of a minority group, while trying to integrate, learn, and love your identity is often challenging. It can be disorienting to have your identity picked apart time and again, only to be left with the pieces to put back together again. Our group aims to provide a safe place for LGBTQ+ adults (18+) to process together, and learn to live authentically. The group will cover topics such as identity, authenticity, self-worth, values, spiritual / religious trauma, boundaries, and self-care. Groups run for 9 weekly sessions on Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30pm.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About - Welcome!</image:title>
<image:caption>I specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community, relational trauma, religious trauma, and those experiencing life transitions. I most often use internal family systems, existential therapy, play therapy, and systems-based modalities. I believe counseling should be a collaborative experience where every client is able to be authentically themselves. I recognize that you are the expert of yourself, and I will meet you where you are at when you first walk into my office. I will not ask you to change who you are but, I will challenge you to become a more complete version of yourself. I pledge: to keep you emotionally safe; to challenge you to learn more of yourself in the world; to laugh with you; to seek justice with you; to be authentic with you, and to help you find meaning, solutions, and next steps. I will work with you to create individualized and specific goals, where we will seek to create solutions and coping skills. We will explore the systems you live within and the roles you take on. We will explore the various parts of who you are, and move towards a more harmonious functioning between these parts. We will look to create meaning and lasting emotional and behavioral change so you can live more authentically and more fulfilled. In technical jargon, I will utilize relational and attachment evidence-based modalities including: existential; systemic; internal family systems; solution-focused, and client-centered play therapy to optimally work towards your specific goals. The modalities I specifically use most often with you will depend on your specific wants and needs, and I am happy to discuss this further with you!</image:caption>
